iPad ( and tablet computers in general ) has radically transformed education. More and more schools here in Canada and the United States are adopting iPad as an official learning tool and some of them are even replacing the traditional textbooks with the electronic ones easily saved on iPad.
iPad apps market is also growing day after day and there are now apps for almost every discipline from Language Arts to Astronomy. It is true that some apps are not really as educational as they claim they are but with the help of blogs such as this one here , one can lay his hands on some good quality apps to use with students. In this regard, Educational Technology and Mobile Learning has started a posting list-of-posts containing apps relevant to different subject matters. All the apps we include are reviewed to make sure they are working before we provide them to you.
Today, and after we have posted about Math App, we are going to provide you with a list of some great science apps to try with your students. Again this list is not exhaustive and if you have other suggestions share them with us in the comment form below. Enjoy
