Since the introduction of generative AI, I have been exploring, testing, and reviewing a wide variety of educational AI tools. A select few of these AI tools have particularly caught my attention especially given their huge potential to enhance teachers lesson planning and facilitate their administrative workflow.
In this post, I am sharing with you what I believe are some of the best AI tools for lesson planning. You can use these platforms to help you generate custom lesson plans, create instructional activities, and design interactive teaching resources.
Also, most of these tools provide access to a huge collection of AI generators that are especially designed to carry out instructional and administrative tasks from generating report card comments and feedback to creating worksheets and interactive slideshows.
That being said, and as I have always recommended, you should always review and edit AI generated content. AI, as we know now, makes mistakes and hallucinates and human oversight is mandated at all times. Needless to mention that AI generated content lacks voice and sounds hollow. Edit, add your voice and touch, and customize AI content before you use it in your instruction.
