What is MagicSchool?
MagicSchool is an educational platform that combines the services of multiple AI tools into a single place. In it you will be able to access various kinds of AI generators from lesson plan and worksheet creators to text and YouTube video summarizers.
In fact, I don’t find MagicSchool any different from other AI lesson plan tools I covered in the past especially Eduaide and Brisk Teaching. They offer pretty much the same AI tools and they all work the same way.
You browse through the various AI tools, pick the one you are interested in, type in your prompts, and click to generate content whether it is a detailed lesson plan or a teaching resource.
The great thing about these AI tools is that, unlike general AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini, they are custom trained to cater only to educational content. That being said, anything you generate through AI needs to be vetted and further edited before using it in your teaching.
MagicSchool Tools
MagicSchool offers access to a wide array of over 60 AI tools designed particularly for teachers and students. These AI tools are arranged into different categories including: lesson planning, content creation, student support, communication, community tools, question generators, and more.

Raina Chatbot
Raina chatbot is an AI teaching assistant that you can use to interact with in real time. You can ask your specific teaching-related queries and Raina will provide suggestions and recommendations.
For instance, you can upload your lesson plan or copy-paste it into the chatbox and ask Raina for her feedback or ask it to come up with teaching activities to include in the lesson. You can also use it to get help with teaching activities and instructional methods.
The trick is to make your prompts as detailed as possible. You need to articulate your prompts in a clear and structured way. Raina also offers a ‘Custom prompt’ feature which allows you to create and save your frequently used prompts so that you can access them easily in future interactions with the chatbot.
