TRANSPARENCY AT EDUCATORS TECHNOLOGY
Educators Technology shares practical tools, teaching ideas, research-informed perspectives, and visual resources for educators. As its author, I use AI to support parts of that work. This page explains how AI fits into my process and where my responsibility remains.
AI can assist the work. I remain responsible for what I publish.
Writing and editing
I use tools including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to organize ideas, develop drafts, and edit prose. These tools can help me structure a guide, clarify an explanation, or explore ways to present an educational idea. The topics I choose, the judgments I make, and the final editorial decisions remain mine.
Research and educational interpretation
AI can help me organize information and synthesize ideas across sources. It does not replace my reading, my interpretation of research, or my responsibility to check claims and quotations against their sources. A summary of a study and a suggestion for classroom practice are different kinds of writing; practical applications involve judgment about context.
Images, diagrams, and teaching resources
Many visuals on Educators Technology are created with AI assistance. My visual workflow includes tools such as Canva, Ideogram, Napkin AI, ChatGPT, and Gemini’s image-generation tools. I use these to develop illustrations, diagrams, posters, and visual explanations. An AI-generated illustration should not be treated as a photograph documenting a real person or event.
AI tools featured on this site
Writing about an AI product is different from using AI to prepare an article. A tool’s inclusion in a guide is not a guarantee that its outputs are accurate, that it is suitable for every learner, or that it meets your institution’s requirements. Check the provider’s current features, terms, privacy information, and age requirements before classroom use.
Human judgment and corrections
I remain accountable for the claims, interpretations, and resources published here. This disclosure describes my overall practice; it does not mean every post or image was produced in the same way. If you would like to ask about a particular article or visual, or flag an error, please get in touch.
