FormLimiter is an excellent add-on to use with your Google Forms. It allows you to create forms that automatically self-restrict responses at a pre-specified time and date or when ‘a spreadsheet cell equals a value’. Next time you want to share a time-bound assignment with students, use FormLimiter to specify a timeframe for accepting responses after which students wont be able to submit new responses.
FormLimiter is especially useful for ” time-bound assignments, event registrations with limited seats, or other first-come, first-served signup scenarios.” There are 3 options to choose from when setting up response limit: 1) identify a maximum limit after which FormLimiter shuts off your form, 2) set the timer on a given time and date or 3) use the spreadsheet cell value option. For instance, you can “specify a spreadsheet cell (e.g. “Sheet1!A2″ in the form destination sheet that must equal a particular value, and the form will evaluate on each new form submission.”
