Webmath is an excellent resource to help students with their math problems. We are adding it to the list of math solver tools for students. Webmath, which we discovered through Discovery Education, is a “site that generates answers to specific math questions and problems, as entered by a user, at any particular moment. The math answers are generated and displayed real-time, at the moment a web user types in their math problem and clicks “solve.” In addition to the answers, Webmath also shows the student how to arrive at the answer.”
Webmath is simple and easy to use. No log-ins or downloads are required. You simply head over to the site homepage and select either one of the tabs above the page or use the quick search tab to locate a math help item. There are 8 tabs that cover Math for everyone, General Math, K-8 Math, Algebra, Plots and Geometry, and trig and Calculus. Click on each of these tabs and use its internal search functionality to access tons of instant math-solvers. Give it a try and share with your colleagues.
