In today’s post we are sharing with you two interesting citation generators from Chegg students can use to help them with crediting the sources they include in their research papers. These tools support the popular MLA, APA, and Chicago styles as well as several other citation styles. They also offer two modes of generating citations: an automatic mode and a manual mode. Additionally, the sites feature some interesting step-by-step guides and tutorials students can use to learn the basic of each citation style and how to format their papers. Citation Machine allows you to generate citations in different styles including APA, MLA, Chicago and many more. The way it works is simple and easy: select the type of work you want to cite (e.g., a book, magazine, newspaper, website, journal, film…etc) and then choose one of the following: ‘Auto-fill mode’ which automatically generates citations for you based on your search query or ‘Manual entry mode’ which lets you manually generate citations based on the reference information you provide. Citation Machine also provides a wide variety of guides, tutorials and resources to help students learn more about citation styles and develop their writing skills.

This is another good citation tool from Chegg. It works almost in the same way as the previous one. It offers both the automatic (default option) and manual modes to create your citations. It supports various citation styles including MLA8, MLA7, APA, Chicago, Harvard and many more. It also offers some helpful guides to use with students in class to introduce them to the basics of citation styles and how to use each of them to properly format their references.
