A Great Tool for Creating Bingo Cards in Class

After we have seen how to create Jeopardy-like games we are introducing you to another great tool from Matt Johnson called Bingo Baker. Using this tool will enable you to design unique bingo cards to use in your instruction. To start designing your card, head over to Bingo Baker homepage and use the grid provided there. You can customize the columns, add a title, change the Bingo column headings, insert images, paste a list of words, and many more. When your Bingo card is ready click on 'Generate' button. You can print your Bingo card or share it with others to play online through a unique web address.

Here are some of the features provided by Bingo Baker:

  • "Drag and drop images from your computer to liven up your card
  • Read words/images from the automatically generated call-list when you conduct your game
  • Decide if you want to fix your words/images to a single column (like in traditional bingo), or shuffle them across the entire card.
  • Print 10 cards or 1000 with 1, 2 or 4 per page
  • Customize the size of your card with 5x5, 4x4 and 3x3 grids
  • Add as many words/images as you want
  • Choose whether you want a free space or not
  • Play online from a computer, tablet or smartphone
  • Calculate the probability of someone winning your bingo game after a certain number of calls"
