Project-based learning (PBL) is a learning trend centred on the use of hands-on activities and projects (both long-term and short term ones) to engage students in authentic learning situations. Over the last few years we have reviewed a wide variety of digital resources teachers can draw on to effectively integrate the ethos of project-based learning in their classroom instruction. In today’s post we are sharing with you a handful of some of the best resources we shared so far. We organized these resources into four main categories: iPad apps, Android apps, web tools, and PBL books. Our purpose is to help you develop a grounded understanding of what PBL is all about (through suggested readings) and proceed to its application in your class through the use of the recommended apps and tools.
