This week’s App’s Gone Free series features five good iPad apps that are free today and only for a limited period of time. Some of the things you can do with these apps include: remotely access your computer from your phone, create beautiful photo collages and visuals, keep track of your daily activities and effectively manage your time, learn to write English alphabet letters through tracing, and many more. Have a look and see if you want to grab any.
1- Splashtop Personal for iPhone
‘Use Splashtop to access your computer on the local network with best-in-class video streaming performance. View and edit Microsoft Office and PDF files. Browse the web using IE, Chrome, and Firefox with full Flash and Java support. Play 3D PC and Mac games. Access your entire media library and documents.’
2- PhotoTangler
‘PhotoTangler Collage Maker is a powerful image app that instantly turns your favorite photos into beautiful collages. It allows you to blend them together in unique and creative ways. It’s easy, fun, and the results look like magic! Just drop photos on the canvas, and watch PhotoTangler seamlessly blend them together with any other photos nearby.’
3- Time Manager
‘Time Manager is an easy way to keep track of your daily activities. With one touch you can access all your common tasks and edit them at any time. All your tasks will be totaled and broken down into reports and graphs for you to see how well you’re spending your time. You can even email these reports so that your records are never lost.’
4- Phrase Shift
‘From the clever minds behind AdVenture Capitalist comes an entirely new take on the word puzzle genre. In Phrase Shift, you’ll read a phrase from top to bottom and shift the words side to side until the correct answer reads down. It’s like solving a crossword clue, but the answer is within the clue itself!’
5- ABC Star
‘Learn to write the letters of the English alphabet by tracing. Watch your pet hatch from its egg and grow as it learns along with you.’
