Here is a collection of some good iPad apps that are free today and only for a limited period of time (offer valid at least in the Canadian and American iTunes App Stores). Some of these apps (the last five ones in the list) are games designed specifically to train younger learners in areas such as literacy, arithmetic, and strategic thinking. The rest are apps you can use to record videos, remotely access your computer, measure the distance between two objects, and protect and back up contacts in your address book. Check them out and hopefully the apps are still free by the time you are reading this post.
1- Videomator

2- Splashtop Personal

3- From A to B- Distance

5- Animal Math Games for Kids
