iPad can immensely enhance the learning of science through the use of a wide range of educational apps designed specifically for this purpose. Over the past few years, we have reviewed a number of these apps each of which is related to a given scientific topic from human anatomy and periodic tables to  apps to help you explore the body in 3D. You can access all of these resources from this page.  Today, we are adding two more interesting apps for science teachers and students. The apps provide you access to a huge library of instructional science videos to use in class with your students. Check them out below :

1- VideoScience

‘A growing library of over 80 hands-on Science lessons that are great for home and the classroom. These short videos demonstrate inexpensive and easy to recreate experiments that are designed to inspire and excite kids of all ages. VideoScience is hosted by Dan Menelly, a Science Teacher at the UN International School and a 2010 Einstein Fellow with the National Science Foundation in the Office of Cyberinfrastructure.’

2- Science360

‘The National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Science360 for iPad provides easy access to engaging science and engineering images and video from around the globe and a news feed featuring breaking news from NSF-funded institutions. Content is either produced by NSF or gathered from scientists, colleges and universities, and NSF science and engineering centers.’
