The latest update to Google Drive has brought about some interesting performance-enhancing features one of which is the new templates gallery for Slides, Sheets and Docs. The gallery comprises a verity of pre-designed templates arranged into different categories such as Work, Education, and Personal. These templates are a good way to get you started creating a file with a specific purpose, ‘for example a resume in Docs, a budget plan in Sheets, or a project proposal in Slides, you can quickly get started by using a template.’

Here is how to find and use templates in each of the Docs, Sheets, and Slides home screens:

1- On a computer, open the home screen for the type of template you want:
2- Select one of the featured templates at the top of the page. Or, to see all of the templates, click More in the top right.
