A couple of weeks ago, Google released a countdown timer feature integrated into Google search interface. Actually this feature was available for sometime last year but was then removed and it is back now with a full screen option.
You can use Google countdown timer to time your students activities in class. To start using it, simply head over to Google search home page and type in “set timer for” and provide a time value; for instance ” set timer for 5 minutes”. You can also use the voice control to say it instead of typing it. Then a small window will pop up at the top of the page displaying the counter counting down time.When it is over, an alarm noise will go off but you can choose to make it silent if you want.
