I just came across this wonderful graphic on leadership qualities and wanted want you to have a look as well. The visual features 8 of the characteristics or traits that distinguish leading people. But I think some other qualities are missing here particularly aspiration, dedication and commitment. All leaders are inherently ambitious people who are committed to their field of expertise. This commitment does not stem from a sense of duty they might evoke but rather from a deep-seated love towards what they do, a love that drives and fuels their actions and help them unleash their creative capacities. A greadt read in this direction which I highly recommend for anyone interested in this topic is Eric Sheninger ‘s recent book entitled ” Digital Leadership: Changing Paradigms for Changing Times“.
