The 2014 Doodle 4 Google competition is open now. The doodle theme of this year is “if I could invent one thing to make the world a better place…” and the winner young artist will see his or her artwork on the Google homepage and receive a $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 Google for Education technology grant for his or her school.
The novelty this year is the classroom activities section which has been developed in partnership with Discovery Education. These classroom activities are designed to ” help K-12 classrooms (and individuals) stretch their creative muscles and warm up for the Doodle 4 Google competition. Kick-off your class’ or kids’ discussion with the short videos and use the activities to get the creative juices flowing!”
