Google Just Released An Interesting Music Timeline ( Great for Music Teachers )

 Two days ago, Google released an interesting music timeline documenting the variations in music industry during the last six decades. This timeline is basically a coloured visualization that chronicles  how different artists and musical genres have gained or dropped in popularity since they year 1950 to the moment.

As you will see in the timeline, each musical genre is given a particular colour. Click on any of these coloured spots and you will be provided with more details on that musical genre . You will also be able to see the major artists falling under its genre. You can click on any artist and read about his/her story or head over to Google Play to listen to their hits.
