Storytelling was one of the first communicational strategies humans used to pass on knowledge, traditions and customs from one generation to the other. This oral traditional was firmly rooted in the human heritage and stood the test of time. In fact, some of the early oral productions constituted the foundational basis of what is now well established literary genres, Homer's Iliad is one example among many of an epic work that was initially originated and communicated orally before It was later encoded into written speech.
