Google Maps Mania is one excellent platform I have been reading for quite a while now. It covers everything related to Google Maps and tracks the websites, mashups and tools being influenced by Google Maps. I have been repeatedly recommending it for teachers in several articles I posted here in this year. Today, as I was checking the feeds on my social media profiles I come across this recent post from Google Maps Mania outlining the top 5 history maps of 2013 and thought that history teachers might be interested in having a peek.
The first in this collection is Jamaican Slave Revolt Map which tells the story of the revolt, and its brutal suppression by the British Army.
