1- Create a board
A board is like a section that will contain all the pins that you pin to it. You can create several boards, each for a certain purpose. For instance, some of my boards include: Free Technology for Educators, Educational Infographics, Great Books for Teachers…etc.
To create a board , head over to your Pinterest page,Click on the “+” button on the top and select ” create a board”.
Now give your board a name, a description and choose a category for it then select whether you want your board public or private. Then click save changes
2- Upload a pin
To upload a pin from your computer, you will have to click on the “+” button on the top and select ” upload a pin”
3- Pin from the web
To pin a web page into your boards, click on the “+” sign again and select “add from website” then paste the URL of the pin. Remember this is the hardest way to pin, you can instead use Pin it bookmarklet or Pin it button right from your browser to pin webpages to your boards.
4- Anatomy of a pin
When you click on a pin in Pinterest you will be directed to a page that looks like this.
You can use these buttons to pin, like or access the URL of the pin
You can also Tweet it Facebook it, or embed it in your blog
You can also add a message to your pin and send it in an email or to your Facebook friends.
