YouTube Launches A New Program for Educators

YouTube just announced the launch of a new program called Next Edu Gurus. YouTube has teamed up with the popular Khan Academy to search for 10 super talented and engaging content creators to support in their YouTube and education careers. The support can be training, promotions, and a $1000  gift card for production equipment.






The job of the content creators in the Next Edu Guru is to create all kinds of curriculum-related videos from grammar to geography. The focus will be on videos that can develp and discuss a single topic over a series of videos.


The candidates for Next Edu Guru will be selected  by a panel from YouTube Education team and the Khan Academy.The program is open to creators in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and the deadline for applications if October 1.
