Apple has provided some great links to education related apps. Here are two of them :
- www.apple.com/education/apps : Here is where you will find apps organized according to a specific academic area.
- www.apple.com/education/ipad : This one provides further insight on the educational uses of the iPad.
2- Apps in Education Blog
This is one of my favourite blogs when it comes to looking for iPad apps. It is run by Reg Swanson who is a fellow educator. He provides iPad apps fo all sorts and covering a plethora of academic subjects.
3-iPad Curriculum
This is another great website for teachers looking for iPad apps. It has an awesome search facility that lets you check the price, grade/level, and subject of each app. For instance you can look for only Grammar apps or writing apps etc.
4- iPad in Schools
This is a resource listing. It provides apps organized by grade level. You can find apps for Elementary School, Middle School, High School..etc.
5- iPad Educators
This is a Ning-based social networl created by Sam Glicksman that provides various resources pertaining to the use of iPad in education. You will find videos, discussion groups,blogs, and many more.
6- iPads in Education
This is a Scoop It page that provides listing of resources on iPad and its uses in education. It has links to some great content online.
7- iPadagogy YouTube Channel
This is a great YouTube channel dedicated to videos about the uses of iPad in education.
8- iPad for Educationa andTraining
This is an awesome community of like minded people in LinkedIn talking about the uses of iPad in education and providing some great resources on this topic.
9- iPads in Education Daily
This is another great ScoopIt page where you will have access to a plethora of different resources on the use of iPad and mobile learning in education
