iPad is a game-changer in education. These are free short interactive guides created by Apple in Education to be read on iBooks to help teachers make the best of their iPad use in instruction.
1- Discovering Educational Content for iPad
Discovering Educational Content for iPad is a free interactive iBooks book from Apple in Education packed full of helpful tips, tricks, app recommendations, and ideas on how to better integrate iPad in your instruction.‘This guide will help teachers understand what type of content is available in each of the iTunes stores, how to access the stores from a Mac or iPad, and find tips on how to search each store and education curated collections for the type of content they might use in their classrooms. As its title indicate, this guide is meant to help teachers make informed decisions about educational apps to integrate in their classroom instruction. Sifting through tons of educational apps in the App Store can be a daunting task especially for teachers whose schedules are already full enough to allow for such an endeavour. This is where the utility of such a guide comes in handy. It provides you with a set of tips and ideas to help you better evaluate educational apps and tap into the learning potential of iPad.
