8 New Great Educational Web tools for Teachers

I haven't posted in the section "educational web tools " for a couple of months now but I know most of you were away for the summer anyway. However, the curation and bokmarking process of new educational websites I come across in my online forays haven't stopped. I have handpicked a wide variety of interesting web tools that have been recently released and I think you will defnitely find them helpful in your efforts to integrate technology into your teaching.

This is a good web tool that allows you to create a personal startpage with your most important bookmarks and RSS feeds.Easy to use, reliable and completely (ad) free.

Explore the world through literature with the LitMap Project, the geographic book database. Books are mapped onto the LitMap by where they take place or the place they are about. We map nonfiction, fiction, mystery, science fiction, any kind of literature that can be associated with a specific geographic location.

WikiTube is a cool Chrome extension that adds YouTuve videos to Wikipedia entries. When installed, you will be able to watch videos related to Wikipedia items you are reading.

SchoolsWorld is a brand-new, multimedia platform, providing innovative and informative content for everyone involved with or wanting to be involved in schools. Besides all the content from Teachers TV, there is something for everyone: videos, interactive games, work sheets, fact sheets, information and latest education news. 

Classmint lets anyone create annotatable, audible, beautiful notes that can be folded like paper. It also maintains automated revision list to aid in timely revision.Students/Teachers can keep their notes private or publish them.

Azendoo regroups all your cloud tool in one simple interface. Use and mix your favorite apps to share knowledge with your team.

Twiducate is the perfect solution for elementary and secondary students. Rather than having your students sign up and enter an email address, you sign up and create a class code.Using this code, your students log in to your class network.Here, they can answer questions, collaborate on problems, and even embed pictures and videos. As a teacher you have full control over the network. You can even add other teachers!
