5 Excellent Resources for Teaching Students about Cyber-safety

In an age where almost everybody has access to the net virtually anywhere anytime, issues of cybersafety particularly when it comes to young surfers has come to the surface in such a pertinent way that it is just no longer possible to just side-cure it. From online sexual harassment to bullying, the cyberspace is full of all kinds of threats to our kids and unless we act now it will be too late to act later.

Developing a culture of cyber safety starts at home and the school consolidates it. As iKeepsafe noted, Cyber-safety addresses the ability to act in a safe and responsible manner on the Internet and other connected environments. These behaviours protect personal information and reputation, include safe practices to minimize danger from behavioral-based rather than hardware/software-based problems.

To help you better teach your kids and students about cyber-safety, I have compiled a list of some interesting resources that you can bookmark and share with your learners. Check them out below and if you have other suggestions, feel free to add them in the comment form below. Enjoy
