Interesting Graphic on The Difference between Traditional and Modern Learning

Learning has witnessed a transformative change within the last two decades not because of technology solely but also because of the widespread of literacy and the democratization of education. With the uptake of internet, knowledge became liberated and no longer under the controle of gate keepers.

With this free access to information, there emerged some new learning styles. Most of these styles are self-dependent. To cater to these emerging learning needs teachers need to adopt a more student centered approach to their instruction. Some view this stance as a deviation from the traditional stereotypical role of the teacher who used to be the center of learning towards a more flexible approach to learning, one that responds the most to the exigencies of the 21st century education.

Below is a great graphic from rossparker.org on the the difference between traditional and modern learning styles. I want you to have a look and share with us what you think of it. Enjoy
