25 Ways Twitter Can Help You in Your Teaching

Among the emails I got following the posting of "10 Powerful Twitter Tools for Teacher's Professional Development" one of them contained the excellent resource I am sharing with you below. This is basically a graphic created by Teachthought.com and edudemic.com featuring 25 ways to use Twitter in the classroom.

I am also adding it to the resources I am compiling on Twitter for my master thesis. Probably in a future post, I will share with you third party tools to use with Twitter to carry on each tip of the 25 tips mentioned in this graphic. But for now I ll let you enjoy this wonderful work and looking forward to your feedback. Enjoy

  1. Hi Med--
Amazing poster--although I am a twitter neophyte and the big "HOW" follows every suggestion. I would really appreciate a "Twitter for Beginners" which walks educators through setting it up in classrooms of resistant students. I teach at a community college and my students, although well-versed in facebook, actively resist anything new and anything that causes technological confusion. Often, then, the "technology" of the thing takes over and I cannot focus on my content area (English.)

Thank you so much for sharing this wealth of information!
