10 Awesome New Web Tools for Teachers

As is usual here in Educational Technology and Mobile Learning, every two weeks, I share with you here a list of the most recently released web tools that might probably have some educational potential for your teaching and learning contexts.

It's been 7 months ago since I added this section featuring lists of educational web tools to my blog. You can check it to view the lists I shared there so far.These lists are particularly created to help those of you who are  busy and have no time left  to go online and  hunt for the new releases in the world of educational technology. What you see in these lists are web tools other edubloggers have reviewed in their websites and blogs.

1- Widbook

An easy online platform to write books, share stories and add photos and video. Also invite friends to co-write with you.
2- Problem-Attic

Search by topic or exam. Select, arrange, and format questions the way you like. Create beautiful classroom materials in just minutes!
3- Silk

Silk is a place to publish your collections. A Silk site lets you add structure to your information and gives you many ways to filter and visualize your content. We built Silk because we believe that knowledge should be organized.

4- Tagboard

With tagboards you see the whole conversation, across networks, making them the perfect hub for social media.

5- Shareor

Shareor, a free social networking platform for teachers is an initiative designed to simplify communications between teachers. As the first online social network designed exclusively for teachers, Shareor empowers educators to share, collaborate, and connect within the teacher community

6- Memofon

Create  great mind maps from text. it is basically a text based mind mapping, learning and note taking tool.

7- Wonderville

Wonderville.com is the flagship product from Learning Core. It offers an easy way for classrooms to connect, collaborate, share media, and access “Smart Galleries℠” full of enrichment content for kids.

8- XtraMath

XtraMath is a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to math achievement for all. Our goal is to develop effective, efficient, adaptive and intrinsically rewarding supplemental math activities and make them available for free.

9- Dropmark

This is one the easiest way to share files. Just drag and drop files right from your desktop or web browser. Your files will be automatically uploaded to the cloud. You can also Invite colleagues to view and collaborate privately. Share your work with clients and skip e-mail and social media clutter. No sign up required for invited guests.

10- Shre.io

This tool allows to upload and share any file effortlessly. Photos, video, docs, audio, code & a whole lot more.
