Creative Uses of iPad in The Classroom

While I was working on the 62 ways to use iPad in the classroom, I came across this awesome presentation from Mike Amante. The presentation is labelled " Creative Uses of iPad in The Classroom" and is really a great work to say the least about it. Mike included a list of apps together with tips on how to use them in your classroom. He also recommended several other apps in the form of QR codes that you can scan to access. I am definitely adding this presentation to my iPad Resources section here in Educational Technology and Mobile Learning.

  1. Have you looked at Educational Resources' LearnPad solution. The LearnPad solution enables educators to do directed instruction. The student only can access what the teacher has given him or her access to. The LearnPad also works without Wi-Fi assuming the lesson has already been loaded on the device. Also assuming the lesson isn't comprised solely on websites and other web properties. The LearnPad is built off the Android platform and fully locked down along with CIPA browser... so students really can't break out of the lesson in front of them.
