In our last post entitled : " 10 Web Tools Teachers should Be Using " , we mentioned 4Teachers. This website works to help teachers integrate technology into their classrooms by offering online tools and resources. I have been reviewing all of the tools they provide and I found them really great. They all have user friendly interface, free to use, and have guides on how to use them which you can find on the FAQ page of each web tool.
The tools 4Teachers offer " align with standards, promote higher order thinking and support the development of writing skills.You can also use them to monitor student research and writing, evaluate student performance and create bilingual online lessons, classroom calendars, and quizzes in less time than traditional methods."

1- Quick Star
With QuizStar you can :- Manage classes and quizzes- Attach multimedia files to questions- Make quizzes in multiple languages- Access from any Internet-connected computer- Allow students to complete and review
2- Rubi Star
You can use RubiStar to create customized rubrics in both English or Spanish.
3- Academic Skill Builder
This is a web service that provides great educational games to polish students skills in many areas. These games include : math games, and language art games.
4- Persuade Star
This one provides students with the necessary tools to start writing persuasive essays.
5- Classroom Architect
As its name indicates, this tool allows teachers and students to work together in building a floor for their classroom.
6- Track Star
TrackStar is your starting point for online lessons and activities. Simply collect Web sites, enter them into TrackStar, add annotations for your students, and you have an interactive, online lesson called a Track.
7- Assign A Day
Assign-A-Day is a free tool designed to enhance teacher and student communication through an online teacher-managed calendar. Teachers create a calendar for each of their classes and add assignments for the students to view. Students view their teachers' calendars in order to see assignments for classes they might have missed, or to get an overview of the class
8- Casa Notes Tool
Casa Notes is designed to allow teachers to quickly make, and customize, typical notes that are sent home to parents or given to the students. This is done by using templates and allowing the teachers to customize some of the content, choose a color scheme and add a graphic. The notes can then be printed on a black-and-white or color printer to be used
9- Project Based Learning Checklists
A project based learning method is a comprehensive approach to instruction. Your students participate in projects and practice an interdisciplinary array of skills from math, language arts, fine arts, geography, science, and technology.
10- Web Poster Wizard
This FREE tool allows educators to create a lesson, worksheet, or class page and immediately publish it online. Teachers can also set up classes and assign projects to students. Students complete the assignments by creating their own online projects or reports. Teachers and students can even add images and links to their pages.
11- Note Star
NoteStar is an Internet utility to assist in the preparation of research papers. Teachers and students can set up research projects with topics and sub-topics. Students may then take advantage of NoteStar's many features to collect and organize their notes and prepare their bibliography page.
12- Think Tank
ThinkTank is designed to help students develop a Research Organizer (a list of topics and subtopics) for reports and projects. Based on the subject assigned, the students can refine it by choosing from a variety of suggestions and by using a random subtopic generator. This helps students learn how to refine a subject so that it is more manageable for Internet research.

This is an instructional website to help teachers and students use video production in class to support project based learning.
