Plagiarism is one of the serious threats facing our educational system as a whole. Technology has even made it worse. Some students having free and instant access to everything they need online, all it takes them is one click in a search engine and their they go , copying and pasting . Fortunately, we the teachers have a sharp eye for plagiarism. For instance, correcting my students essays, I could tell from reading the first paragraph if this is a plagiarized work or not. I know the writing style and even the vocabulary repertoire of my students and I don't think they will be able to will fool me on this.
