A New List of Great Web Tools for Educators

Educational Technology and Mobile Learning is back to you with another collection of new educational web tools you can try with your students or for your own professional development plans. These tools range in purpose from simple study tools to web conferencing services.


 As always, the main goal behind such a post is to enable those of you who, because of their work and time pressure, find it hard to go online and spend hours looking for the new  educational releases in the world of web 2.0 tools. This is a great web tool for interacting with an audience ( in our case students ). It is basically a response system that is completely free to use.

This is a free online tool where teachers can award badges for students accomplishments. Through your teacher account, you can award badges customized for your classroom or school.




7- JumpRope



Jumpe Rope produces helpful gradebooks and systems that allow teachers, administrators and networks to implement standards-based grading in every classroom.

This website as its name indicates is a free platform where you can listen to others stories or even sign up and share your stories with the world.

Wishybox is a simple wish list that you can use  with your family, friends , students or for any special event. It has a user friendly interface and is safe to use.\



10- I Tweet Live




Itweetlive allows twitter users to search for any tweet using key words or phrases.

Folders.io  lets you share massive amounts of files without having to upload them before hand. It actually turns your browser into a real file server, so all your files are available immediately through the URL provided.
