This Day in Technology : Lee Released the World Wide Web

On this day on August 7, 1991 Tim Berners-Lee posted the first webpages summarizing his World Wide Web project, which is a method of storing knowledge using hypertext documents. Lee had worked laboriously to bring the concept of the web to reality including coming up with the first ideas about browser and server.

the web project was conceived of and developed at CERN, an international particle physics lab located near Geneva in Switzerland. Lee had a collaborator with him named Robert Cailliau who had done a lot to help Lee ' make his dream real' and make the world a little village.

I don't think Lee had any clue at the kind of revolution his invention would create and is still creating. We are so thankul to such a great man and happy 21st anniversary to World Wide Web.
