YouTube is a great video resource for us in education. It is probably the primary source everyone thinks of when looking for a video online. Educational Technology and Mobile Learning has even dedicated a whole section to eveything that has to do with the use of YouTube in Education hoping that teachers and educators will find it helpful in implementing this service in their classrooms. Sifting through the YouTube tools I have reviewed before I decided to compile a list of some great services that you can use with YouTube to drive away the distraction that surrounds YouTube videos particularly inappropriate ads, vulgar language included in the comments section, and indecent pictures and might be displayed in the related videos' sections. These features make out of YouTube a video serivce that you need to think twice before considering using it especially with your students in the classroom. So to create a healthy, safe and distraction-free environment for the inclusion of YouTube in the education, we need to use some of the tools mentioned in the list below. They are all free and easy to use.

YouTube Preview ,as its name suggests, is a Chrome extension ( sorry for Firefox users ) that allows users to have a quick and instant preview of the YouTube videos. Yes you can now skim through the content of a video before you start watching it.
