The 20 Digital Skills Every 21st Century Teacher should Have

Updated on march 2, 2015 :
 The original list that was created in 2011 comprised 33 skills , after reviewing it we decided to do some merging and finally ended up with the 20 skills below.

The 21st century teacher should be able to :

  19. Nice sum regarding the digital skills for the 21st Century. I must ad though that it is slice of the learning process a teacher should always be part of. A teacher needs to be a student and learn at the same time as she/he teaches. And of course some of the things she/he should know have to do with the digital world we are living in.

  21. I add my hearty gratitude for sharing a list of tools Amd skills that are so pertinent. The previous comment caught my attention..."what about IWB skills"....many teachers equate IW with technology integration. I see online approaches and mobile technology in the hands of students as more 21st century. IW can lead to even more teacher directed pedagogy.

  24. Great work on pulling the post and list of resources together. The fact that you included elements for online security and plagiarism is fantastic simply because technology to often gets promoted without also teaching responsible use for both the teacher and student.
    I will be able to progressively move through your list to see what I haven't used before.
