As the school year approaches its end, teachers start summing up their whole school year work and reflect upon what worked and what did not, if the goals set at the start were met at the end, and many more questions.This is like a summative assessment but just informal.

Reflecting upon one's teaching practices and goals is one of the recommended behaviour for evey teacher. It helps us locate our weaknesses and strengths It also directs us towards better methods to embrace for the next school year. In this regard, Addie Williams from Teacher Talk has some wonderful worksheets designed specifically to help you assess your whole year work. I believe these worksheets target students in the first place but some of them can be used by teachers too.
