Bitstrips The Educational Power of Comics

Using comics and cartoons in teaching proves to be of great help. Students tend to love these materials and there is nothing better than a funny communicative comic to catch your students attention while teaching functions.

I have already provided a set of free awesome tools that teachers can use to create educational cartoons and comics and today I am adding another great website called Bistrip for schools. This is a great tool that allows teachers to easily create intuitive comics to share with students. It has a sophisticated cloth library which looks like a word editing platform Users can choose their own avatar, dress it the way they like, add colour, speech bubbles and many more.

Bitsrips for Schools has a special section called activities. Here, teachers can  search for activities on topics they want to teach .They can also browse the categories provided there which range between,  English, History, Social Studies,Science, Math, Arts, Civics, Values education, Business and Lwa, and EFL/ ESL . When you clik on any category you will be directed to the page where you can read the activity you can use with your students. Probably the only thing that will deter some from using this service is the fact that it is a pro service that offers only a 30 days free trail period.
